How old you expect to live to be: mid eighties, I practice yoga and wear a helmet biking.
What do you love most to do in life?
Writing fiction because I love words, and creating stories. For me writing is like sculpting. You write a first draft, let it sit and then revise, cutting, adding, working the piece until the story has evolved into something you didn’t and couldn’t predict, but like.
What about yourself do you really like?
My good fortune to love wine, work in the field and not be addicted to it.
Have you ever known anyone who died of AIDS?
Yes. Stephen Gendin, an Aids activist, a major force in Act Up, a goofy, caring person, who lived as HIV positive for almost a decade.
Have you ever known anyone who died at a young age?
Yes. Todd Adams. A neighbor who died of Lukemia in third grade.
What would you like to see people do to change the world? Smile, be polite, curb greed and stop corruption.
What are some of the funnest times you’ve ever had? I love to laugh and friends can get my cackle going when we reminisce about times I was a fool or a rube or just being
